Musashi Miyamoto Cuts Down The Competition When BAKI-DOU Returns on June 18

All twelve episodes of Part 2 of the action-packed Netflix original anime will drop simultaneously, worldwide

Los Angeles, Calif., May 27, 2026 - TMS Entertainment announced today that Part 2 of the latest installment in the Baki anime franchise, BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai, will premiere exclusively worldwide on Netflix on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Based on the manga of the same name by Keisuke Itagaki, all twelve episodes (Episodes 14–25) will drop simultaneously, continuing the story as the strongest fighters of today face off against the greatest swordsman in history, Musashi Miyamoto.

The focus of this upcoming Part 2 is reflected in the franchise's newly revealed key art. Musashi draws his blade against the backdrop of some of the most cunning and lethal fighters in the series, including the classical martial artist Izo Motobe, the prehistoric warrior Pickle, Kaoru Hanayama, and the titular Baki himself. Behind them stretches Chisougahara, the "Plain of Feasts,” a lavish banquet that symbolizes Musashi's uncanny ability to perceive the "value" each opponent can bring him, and underscores that for these warriors, combat is as vital as food and drink.

Synopsis:
