My Neighbor Totoro Delay Explained

Nausicaä.net has obtained an answer from Disney explaining why the My Neighbor Totoro DVD was delayed and replaced by The Cat Returns. According to Rick Rhoades of Disney, "[Totoro was delayed] due to technical problems with the DVD transfer. BVHE wanted to make certain to put out the best quality product, so delaying Totoro made the most sense." No new release date for Totoro has been announced.
