Scott Porter Joins Speed Racer Cast as Young Rex Racer

Variety reports that Scott Porter, most recently seen on television as Jason Street in NBC's Friday Night Lights, will be playing young Rex Racer, the older brother of the live-action Speed Racer film's title character. Later in the movie's story, the Rex character fakes his death and returns as Racer X (Matthew Fox).
