The Akihabara Enta (short for "entertainment") Festival, part of the previously announced CoFesta series of popular culture events, has announced that it will be holding a four-day Manga Festival from October 25 through October 28. The festival will focus on the international popularity of manga, digital content, copyright issues, and other topics.

Co-hosts for the event include the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the organizing committee for the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), and the Japan Institute for Film Development (also known as UniJapan). A full schedule for the festival has not been announced yet, but a variety of business symposiums and seminars are planned.
