Miyazaki's Nausicaä to Screen in Wisconsin Sunday

posted on by Egan Loo
Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind, the first film that Oscar-winning director Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) conceived from start to finish, will screen at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin on Sunday, November 4 as part of The Tales From Planet Earth Film Festival. Due to its environmental themes, the film's initial 1984 Japanese release was supported by the World Wide Fund for Nature and screened with the conservation fund's iconic panda seal. Admission is free. Source: The Capital Times
