ADV Films Officially Launches Kanon Trailer

The anime distributor ADV Films is officially streaming a trailer for the second standalone television series based on the Kanon romance visual novel franchise. ADV emphasizes the point that the software developer Key created both Kanon and another game-based anime (Air), and the trailer itself emphasizes that Kyoto Animation (Air, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) produced the second Kanon series. ADV Films had posted a different, unpublicized trailer in August before it officially announced Kanon's acquisition — only to take this earlier trailer offline once word spread of its existence.
