The New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF) will screen Kiyoshi Nishimoto's "Laughing Moon" anime short again as part of its Kid Flix Mix collection on November 24 and 25. The Kid Flix Mix is a collection of twelve of international shorts that were considered the "best of NYICFF" of the last ten years. The screenings will start at 11:00 a.m. on both days at the IFC Center in New York City. "Laughing Moon" is a six-minute experimental film that animates the classic Asian art of tangram to tell stories. The collection was also screened in August.
