Appleseed Helmer to Host L.A. Premiere on December 15

Shinji Aramaki to be joined by Ex Machina writer Kiyoto Takeuchi
The Jules Verne Adventures Film Festival has informed ANN that director Shinji Aramaki (MADOX-01, Megazone 23 Part III) and screenwrier Kiyoto Takeuchi will attend the official North American premiere of their Appleseed: Ex Machina film on Saturday, December 15. The screening of the science fiction action film based on Masamune Shirow's manga will take place at the Los Angeles Theatre at 2:00 p.m. Attendees can enter the promotional code "STARTREK" into the online ticketing system to get two tickets for the price of one. (One ticket normally costs US$15.00 for the least expensive seats.)
