Vocaloid Producer Kuriyama Yuri Releases First Full-Length Album Ampoule Case
A Four-Year Retrospective of His Expanding Musical World
Tokyo, Japan – Acclaimed Vocaloid producer Kuriyama Yuri, known for his distinctive musical style and emotionally sharp lyrics, released his long-awaited first full-length album, Ampoule Case, today.
Serving as an encapsulation of the artist's creative journey from 2022 to today, Ampoule Case features 18 tracks that have defined Kuriyama Yuri's rise within the Vocaloid scene. The album spotlights his carefully crafted sound production and creative curiosity, showcasing the breadth of his work over the past four years.
The album includes “ Hyu~dorodoro ,” which attracted significant attention through the Pokémon featuring Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs collaboration, alongside fan-favorite songs featured in Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE!, one of Japan's most successful rhythm games, included “Feles,” “Filament Fever,” and “Hanamusubi.”
The album also features guest performances from Chogakusei, a young Japanese singer known for his powerful and versatile vocal style, Azsagawa, whose a lustrous voice have attracted growing attention online, and Sotto Blue, the collaborative unit formed by artists Sou and EveDotto.

About Kuriyama Yuri
He launched his career as a Vocaloid producer under the name Hachi-ya Nanashi in August 2014. From the outset, he quickly gained attention for a distinctive sound blending guitar-centric rock with electro-swing, driven by emotional melodies and bold arrangements.
In February 2021, he became Kuriyama Yuri, marking a new phase in his artistic journey. Later that year, he formed the three-piece band Van de Shop, where he serves as guitarist and vocalist. Their music has been featured in numerous anime and drama productions, showcasing a versatile style that transcends the boundaries of internet originated artists. With over 30 million YouTube views, Kuriyama Yuri has built a strong presence in the digital music scene.
Beyond his own releases, he is active as a DJ, songwriter and collaborator with other artists. Driven by his musical versatility and creative ambition, Kuriyama Yuri is set to pursue an active and ambitious year in 2026, further expanding his artistic reach on both online and IRL.
