Eva:1.0 in N. American Theaters, Eva:1.01 on DVD in Fall

Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone version on DVD, Blu-ray Disc next spring

The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment has confirmed that it will screen the original Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone film at Anime Expo today at 5:30 p.m., and in North American theaters this summer. It will then release the updated Evangelion: 1.01 You Are (Not) Alone version on DVD this fall, followed by the Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone version on DVD and Blu-ray Disc next spring. These staggered releases of the different versions mirror how the film's versions were released in Japan.
