Xebec Parent Gets 90 Million Yen It Was Owed for Film

IG Port — the parent company of the anime studios Xebec and Production I.G — revised its estimates for the first half of the May 2011 fiscal year (June 1 to November 30, 2010) after it received part of a payment it was owed. Xebec had not received 146 million yen (about US$1.8 million) of the payment it was owed for a theatrical anime film it had done in November of 2009, and thus had to record an extraordinary loss for that amount. It has now confirmed a payment of 90 million yen (US$1.1 million).
