Inazuma Eleven to Continue Past March in New Timeslot

posted on by Egan Loo

The February issue of Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine is confirming next Saturday that the Inazuma Eleven soccer anime series will continue airing past March in a new timeslot. Starting on March 2, the anime will move to Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. (Another game-based anime, Danball Senki, will follow at 7:27 p.m. — which is roughly Inazuma Eleven's old timeslot.) Mainichi Kaa-san currently holds the 7:00 p.m. timeslot.

Level-5, the developer of the original Inazuma Eleven soccer role-playing game, had announced last February that the anime would continue until at least March of this year. The anime had premiered in October of 2008. The Inazuma Eleven: Saikyō Gundan Ogre Shūrai movie opened in Japan on December 23.
