The idol group Momoiro Clover announced on Sunday that its sub-leader Akari Hayami is leaving the group by April. The six members made the announcement during an event in Kashiwa City in Chiba Prefecture to mark the March 9 release of their "Mirai Bowl" single. Hayami explained that there may be another path of life that suits her better than being an idol. Hayami had only told the group's leader, Kanako Momota, about her plans to leave three days earlier.
"Mirai Bowl" is the ending theme song for the ongoing Dragon Crisis! television anime series. The group also sang the "Pinky Jones" ending theme for the Yosuga no Sora anime. Hayami will play a pivotal character in the live-action film adaptation of Kimio Yanagisawa's Shimin Police 69 (The Citizen Police 69) manga, which will open in Japan this spring.
