Former Rythem Performer Yui Niitsu to Stream Event Saturday

Yui Niitsu, a former member of the musical duo Rythem, is launching her solo project with an event streamed live on the Ustream website on Saturday, June 11 at 9:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. EDT). Niitsu, or Yui as she is known to her fans, will announce the name of her solo project, the direction she plans to take in music, and her release schedule. She also plans to hold a live performance of new material.
Niitsu and her former Rythem partner Yukari Katō announced last October that they were disbanding after one last album in December and a live concert in January. Not coincidentally, they made the announcement on Ustream.
The duo made their debut, while they were still high school seniors, with the second Naruto ending theme song "Harmonia" in 2003. That song sold over 70,000 copies. They then performed the theme song for the live-action television of adaptation of Keiko Tobe's With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child manga. They also performed the theme songs for Deltora Quest, Hamtaro, and Yakitate!! Japan.
