Trigun Film's U.S. DVD/BD Dated September 27

Funimation lists a September 27 release date for Trigun: Badlands Rumble on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Retail prices are US$29.98 for the DVD and US$34.98 for Blu-ray.
Earlier this week, Funimation released a partial theater list for the film's U.S. screen run. The movie will play in Canada on June 22.
Trigun: Badlands Rumble is the first new Trigun animation in over a decade. The film follows Vash the Stampede and the outlaw Gasback in a period before the original TV anime's finale. Vash journeys to a town surrounded by quicksand where Gasback conflicts with the mayor. As the story unfolds, Vash discovers his actions 20 years ago incited the current events involving bounty hunters, bodyguards, and vendettas.
