"Mysterious Boys" story runs before 2nd live-action Japanese Hana-Kimi show
This year's 14th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine is announcing on Monday that Hisaya Nakajo is launching a two-chapter Wild Kiss manga in the following issue on July 5. The story follows a student named Tomoki Asakawa and a mysterious boy named Chihiro Yoshida.
Nakajo is best known for creating the romantic comedy manga Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e (Hana-Kimi). The manga inspired a 2007 live-action television anime series and a second live-action series which will premiere next month with AKB48 idol group member Atsuko Maeda.
Viz Media published the Hana-Kimi manga in North America. Besides the two Japanese live-action television series, the manga also inspired a live-action television version in South Korea.
