Mashiro-Iro Symphony Anime's 1st Promo Video Streamed

Series based on adult romance adventure game to begin airing in October

The Animate website began streaming the first 65-second promotional video on Friday for the anime adaptation of Palette's Mashiro-Iro Symphony -Love is pure white- adult romance adventure game. The website also unveiled the anime's logo and blog.

Eiji Suganuma (Kodomo no Jikan, Sasameki Koto) will direct the series, which will be animated by Manglobe. Toshie Kawamura (The World God Only Knows, Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart) is handling the character design and is the series' chief animation director.

The story of the game centers around a boy named Shingo Uryū who goes to an academy — that is merging with a prestigious girl's school in the same town. Shingo is among the boys selected to attend the girl's school in a temporary integration period before the schools' actual merger.

Palette and character designer Tsubasu Izumi (Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka) released the original game for Microsoft Windows in 2009, and Comfort ported it to the Sony PSP portable console under the name Mashiro-Iro Symphony *mutsu-no-hana in June.

The anime will begin airing in October.
