Man Arrested for Selling Pirated Dragon Ball DVDs in Japan

Police in Kanagawa Prefecture arrested a 33-year-old unemployed Korean man from Utsunomiya and charged with violating the Copyright Law of Japan. According to the police, the man sold 35 DVD copies of the Dragon Ball anime and other works sometime between September 20, 2009 and October 2, 2011 for a total of 11,780 yen (about US$145). He is suspected of selling about 9,000 copies to about 500 people for about 15 million yen (US$180,000).
