One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 Has 500,000 Preorders

Namco Bandai President Satoshi Ōshita hosted a press presentation for the One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 game for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on Monday with Sony Computer Entertainment Japan President Hiroshi Kawano and Weekly Shonen Jump editor-in-chief Yoshihisa Heishi. Oshita stated that 1.2 million copies of the first game have shipped worldwide, while 500,000 orders were received for the sequel.
Namco Bandai Games will release the game in Japan on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems on March 20, while its European and American branches will release the title for PlayStation 3 this summer.
