Kalafina Sings Kara no Kyōkai: Mirai Fukuin Film's Theme

The official website for the upcoming film Kara no Kyōkai: Mirai Fukuin (The Garden of Sinners/recalled out summer) confirmed on Friday that the Japanese pop trio Kalafina (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) will perform the film's theme song, and also confirmed that the film will open on September 28.

Also, an event on the eve of the 3D release of Fukan Fūkei, the first film in the Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners anime project, revealed more Mirai Fukuin's cast members, including Hisako Kanemoto (Kotoura-san's Haruka Kotoura) as Mana Ryougi and Akira Ishida (Evangelion's Kaworu Nagisa) as Mitsuru Kamekura.

The Mirai Fukuin film adapts Kinoko Nasu's Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin epilogue side story. Nasu's other Kara no Kyoukai stories have already been adapted into anime films which Aniplex released in North America.
