Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Game's Promo Streamed

PS Vita remake of Compile Heart's 2010 Chō Jigen Game Neptune RPG to ship in October

The official website for Compile Heart's Chō Jijigen Game Neptune Re;Birth 1 (Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1) remake game began streaming a promotional video on Friday. The video features nao's opening theme song "Miracle! Portable☆Mission."

The game remake's Compile Heart's original 2010 role-playing game Chō Jigen Game Neptune (Hyperdimension Neptunia). The game will feature the "unit turn" battle system. In battle, players can move characters around the battlefield during a turn. Depending on weapons and skills, attack range will vary making a character's position important for battle success.

Afilia Saga is performing the game's ending theme song "Mirai Botan" (Future Button).

The role-playing game will ship for the PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 31. The regular version will cost 6,090 yen (about US$61), while the limited edition will cost 8,190 yen (US$82), and the downloadable version will cost 5,300 yen (US$53). The limited-edition version will bundle the "Bōken de Maru Maru Sarechau CD" drama CD and a Neptunia rubber strap. People who pre-order the game will also receive the "Megumi-tachi ga Soine Shitekurechau CD" drama CD.

Compile Heart released the Kamijigen Idol Neptune PP (Ultradimension Idol Neptune PP) game for the PlayStation Vita on June 20. A release date for Chō Megami Shinkō Noire Gekishin Black Heart game for the PlayStation Vita remains undecided.

NIS America released the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 games in North America, and it released Kami Jigen Game Neptune V as Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory in March. The first game anthropomorphizes the game console wars as female role-playing game characters.

The Hyperdimension Neptunia television anime premiered in Japan on July 12 as an adaptation of the Hyperdimension Neptunia game series.
