Author Takemiya to supervise Vivid Memories game with Toradora! Portable's writer

The Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival 2013 event in Akihabara, Tokyo announced on Sunday that Yuyuko Takemiya's Golden Time light novel series is inspiring a PS Vita "campus life adventure" game next spring. Below is the television commercial for the Golden Time: Vivid Memories game:

The school romantic comedy story revolves around Banri Tada (voiced by Makoto Furukawa), a college student who lost all of his memories upon graduating his high school. The story follows Banri, Kōko Kaga (Yui Horie), a girl whose seemingly perfect looks belies her hidden regrets, Kōko's significant other Mitsuo Yanagisawa (Kaito Ishikawa), and other students at Banri's college in Tokyo, including Nana Hayashida (Ai Kayano), Chinami Oka (Ibuki Kido), Nijigen-kun (Takahiro Hikami), and Nana-senpai (Satomi Satou).

Takemiya herself is supervising all aspects of the game's scenario, which is being produced by the same main scenario writer responsible for the 2009 PSP game Toradora! Portable! (Takemiya also wrote the original Toradora! light novel series.) The regular edition of the game will cost 6,279 yen (about US$63), while the limited first edition will bundle a 1/8 swimsuit figure of the heroine Kōko Kaga, a fan book with exclusive art and material, and other extras for 10,479 yen (US$105).

People who pre-order the game will receive a Golden Time: Vivid Memories Premium CD with and exclusive original drama and a soundtrack of music by Yukari Hashimoto (Golden Time anime, Toradora!) Starting on Sunday, people who pre-order the game at participating Akihabara stores will also receive an exclusive clear file folder with the art below:

The light novel series is also inspiring the ongoing television anime, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime into several countries as it airs in Japan.
