Namco Bandai Games streamed the launch trailer for the Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers PlayStation 3 game in the Americas on Tuesday.

Namco Bandai Games is releasing the game outside of Japan in North America, Europe, Australasia, and South America. The game is a digital download in North America, and a packaged release in stores in Mexico, Brazil, and the rest of Latin America. Namco Bandai Games released the game in Europe and Australia on Friday.

Dimps developed the game, which includes more than 50 playable characters from the Sanctuary, Poseidon, and Hades arcs of Masami Kurumada's mythological fantasy manga and anime. Up to two players can fight as Pegasus Seiya, Phoenix Ikki, Andromeda Shun, Cygnus Hyōga, Dragon Shiryū, and more. Gemini Saga, Sea King Poseidon, and Meiō Hades also appear for the first time in a game adaptation as bosses. Players are able to enhance their characters' hit points, strength levels and "Cosmos Power Gauge" as they progress through the game.

The game shipped in Japan on October 17.
