The January 2014 issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga is inspiring a PlayStation Vita game. FuRyu (Unchained Blades, Exstetra) is making the To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: Battle Ecstasy game in the "ultra-pleasant harem action" genre.
The magazine teases that the player can meet the heroines of the manga in the game and do things like "battle them and touch them!?"
The 3D game will arrive on May 22, 2014. The regular edition will cost 6,980 yen (about US$70), while the limited edition will cost 8,980 yen (US$90) and the download will cost 6,463 yen (US$65). People who pre-order will receive a product code to download an original maid outfit costume.
The manga, a sequel of the first To Love-Ru -Trouble- series, launched in Jump Square in 2010. The ninth compiled book volume of Saki Hasemi and Kentarō Yabuki's manga will bundle an anime DVD on December 4. Sentai Filmworks licensed last year's television anime adaptation of the manga, and The Anime Network streamed the series in North America.
