January anime about secret society bent on world conquest inspires 3 manga

The official website for the Sekai Seifuku - Bōryaku no Zvezda (World Conquest Zvezda Plot) television anime began streaming its first full 112-second promotional video and its sixth commercial on Sunday. Both feature the opening theme song "Be mine!" by Maaya Sakamoto with the popular rock group "the band apart."

In the video, Kate (Misaki Kuno) tells Asuta (Natsuki Hanae) that if he comes with her, she'll show him a dream bigger than any other: world conquest. She claims that the world is wanting to be conquered, as the domination will protect it.

Aniplex of America will be streaming the anime as it airs in Japan this January, before an eventual home video release. The distributor describes the story:

Every leader of the past has thought of it… but all they have done was to merely dream of its greatness.

WORLD DOMINATION…nobody has been able to achieve it. Until one little girl by the name of KATE HOSHIMIYA came along. KATE HOSHIMIYA will shock the world!

How was she was able to carry out such a MAGNIFICENT stunt? So FRIGHTFUL! So GLORIOUS!

Could this be…the ZVEZDA PLOT?!

Let the light of our great ZVEZDA shine upon this land far and wide!

The series will premiere on Tokyo MX TV and other stations on January 11 at midnight. Artist Hamao previewed a Sekai Seifuku ~Junketsu no White Light (World Conquest: Pure White Light) manga spinoff in the February 2014 issue of Comic Rex magazine on December 27. Manatsu Suzuki's main manga adaptation will be published in books next spring, but the March issue of Comic Rex will publish the first chapter on January 27. Hori is launching the four-panel manga Sekai Seifuku ~4-Koma no White Light (World Conquest: Zvezda 4-Panel) in the March issue of Palette magazine on January 22.
