posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Manga adaptations of 'Aru Asa Okitara' and 'Henshin Ganbō!' stories planned

This year's 36th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump is announcing on Monday that author NisiOisin will get two one-shot manga adaptations in upcoming issues. Artist Yūya Kawada (Smoky B.B.) will draw the adaptation of "Aru Asa Okitara" (When I Awoke One Morning) in the 37th issue and Masaru Miyokawa (St&rs) will draw "Henshin Ganbō!" (Reply Requested!) in the 38th issue.

The Kodansha Box imprint released NisiOisin's Owarimonogatari Part III novel of his ongoing Monogatari series on April 3. A manga adaptation of Oisin's Zerozaki Kishishiki no Ningen Knock, the second novel in his Ningen series, will debut Kodansha's Afternoon magazine on August 25.

The five-episode Hanamonogatari (Flower Story) anime will premiere in a marathon on Saturday, August 16. Anime adaptations of all of NisiOisin's Monogatari works are green-lit.
