Your lie in April's Kyōhei Ishiguro Helms Lance N' Masques

The main staff for Studio Gokumi's anime of Hideaki Koyasu's traditional knight battle action light novel series Lance N' Masques was announced on Thursday. Koyasu (Akikan!, GJ Club, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital) himself will be supervising and writing the series scripts. (Studio Gokumi had edited the light novel series before being in charge of the anime production.)
Novel illustrator Shino (Sunday Without God) is collaborating on the anime to depict scenes of everyday life and battles that Shino had not drawn for the light novels. Kyōhei Ishiguro (Your Lie in April) is directing the anime.
The battle action novel series revolves around Yōtarō Hanafusa, a young man who is part of the last remaining order of knights in the 21st century, “Knights of the World.” As he fights as the mysterious Knight Lancer, he must hide his identity behind a mask.
Koyasu, a scriptwriter for the Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily anime, began the light novels last December. Pony Canyon will ship the third volume of the series in Japan on October 3. This is the first work from Pony Canyon's Poni Can light novel imprint to get an anime adaptation.
