Osamu Tezuka's Don Dracula Gets Stage Play

EXILE's Kenchi Tachibana to star

Osamu Tezuka's Don Drácula manga will get a stage play adaptation at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from April 9-14. Kenchi Tachibana of the band EXILE (Black Jack theme song performance) will have a role in the play.

In the slapstick comedy, Count Dracula moves to Tokyo with his faithful servant Igor and his little vampire daughter Chocolatta. There they attempt to live calm and inconspicuous lives, but are relentlessly pursued by aged and bumbling vampire hunters.

Tezuka serialized the manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion in 1979. Viki streams the 1982 anime adaptation with subtitles in English and other languages.
