Funimation Reveals Broadcast Dub Cast for Heavy Object Anime

Funimation announced the English dub cast for its broadcast dub of the Heavy Object anime on Saturday. The cast, under ADR Director Christopher Bevins and ADR Engineer Peter Hawkinson, includes:
- Justin Briner as Qwenthur
- Micah Solusod as Havia
- Alexis Tipton as Milinda
- Morgan Garrett as Frolaytia
- Wendy Powell as Ayami
The broadcast dub will premiere on November 13 at 11:30 a.m. EST. The show premiered in Japan on October 3. FUNimation Entertainment is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
Funimation describes the story:
In the future, warfare has been revolutionized by the invention of mechanical weapons called “Objects.” These Objects are overwhelmingly powerful, rendering traditional weapons like guns, tanks and fighter jets completely useless. Qwenthur is an un-athletic, but smart soldier who aims to work as an Object mechanic. Stationed at an Alaskan Object base, he meets Milinda, a stoic but beautiful Elite Soldier who pilots her own Object. As they learn to support each other in battle, Qwenthur begins to uncover the grim secret behind the Heavy Objects.
Takashi Watanabe (Shakugan no Shana, Freezing) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff (Toradora!, Kaichō wa Maid-sama!). Kazuma Kamachi (Toaru Majutsu no Index, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) wrote the original story.
