Ninja Slayer manga arc ends, Melty Blood spinoff manga to end next month

This year's November issue of Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine published the final chapters of Tsuchii's Strike Witches Erica Hartmann 1941 manga and Yasuhiro Miyama's Kantai Collection - Suirai Sentai Chronicle manga on Monday.

Comp Ace also ran the final chapter of the Ninja Slayer manga's Ninja Slayer Geisha Karate Shinkansen And Hell arc to coincide with the release of the manga's ninth compiled volume. The manga will no longer serialize in Comp Ace after this issue, but will continue to serialize in Comptiq.

Takeru Kirishima's Melty Blood: Rojiura Nightmare spinoff manga will end in the magazine's December issue next month. The series began in December 2015.

Tsuchii began the Strike Witches Erica Hartmann 1941 spinoff series about 13-year-old Erica Hartmann in March. Humikane Shimada and Project Kagonish were credited as the original creators. Kadokawa published the series' single compiled volume on Monday.

North American manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed four other Strike Witches manga: Strike Witches: Maidens in the Sky, Strike Witches: The Sky That Connects Us, Strike Witches: 1937 Fuso Sea Incident, and Strike Witches: One-Winged Witches. The spinoff manga Strike Witches: The Witches of Andorra has previously been published in English in Kadokawa Shoten's online magazine Kadokawa Niconico Ace.

Miyama began Kantai Collection - Suirai Sentai Chronicle in November 2013. The series focuses on the Sixth Destroyer Division, including Tenryuu and Inazuma, from Kadokawa Games' Kantai Collection (Kan Colle) browser game. Kadokawa will release the third and final compiled volume this fall.
