Funimation Announces Yuri!! on Ice English Dub Cast

Funimation announced the English dub cast for its broadcast dub of the Yuri!!! on Ice television anime on Sunday. The series is part of Funimation's SimulDub program for the fall season, and the first episode will premiere on Monday at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
The cast, under ADR Director Sonny Strait, scriptwriter Bonny Clinkenbeard, ADR engineer Nagaris Johnson, and mix engineer Nathanael Harrison, includes:
- Josh Grelle as Yuri Katsuki
- Micah Solusod as Yuri Plisetsky
- Jerry Jewell as Victor
- Colleen Clinkenbeard as Minako
- Alexis Tipton as Yuko
Funimation describes the series as follows:
Yuri Katsuki makes his way to the Grand Prix ice skating competition as Japan's top representative with his eyes on the prize. However, instead of celebrating, Yuri walks away defeated and ready to retire for good. But a run-in with champion Viktor Nikiforov and rising star Yuri Plisetsky ignites a new fire within him. With the two of them close by his side, Yuri will take to the ice once more.
The anime premiered in Japan on October 6, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs. Funimation announced earlier this month that it would dub the series.
