Publisher Mediascape and Tokyo-based indie game developer Studio Alpha Line announced on April 26 that they will release Studio Alpha Line's Astrologia Odyssey IV: Chronos Reflection game on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC in Japan in December. The game will be available in Japan only for 500 yen, but will have some English in addition to Japanese.
The game is a side-scrolling action game where players control a party to explore dungeons while fighting enemies that can launch multiple projectiles. The player character has the ability to reflect projectiles back. Levels in the game are randomly generated, and the difficulty dynamically changes depending on player skill.
The game series has had three previous releases on the PC, with the Astrologia Odyssey III: Forbidden Sword game released on February 27. Studio Alpha Line is currently developing a sequel to the third game slated for this year titled Astrologia Odyssey III-2: Magius Xross, as well as a fifth free-to-play game titled Astrologia Odyssey V: The Black Witch slated for Android and iOS devices next year. Astrologia Odyssey IV: Chronos Reflection is the developer's first commercial release.
