Ghost in the Shell earned US$115,571 in 6th weekend

The Box Office Mojo website updated its box office estimates for Makoto Shinkai's your name. anime film through May 7. The film earned about US$89,864 at 74 theaters in the United States and Canada over the weekend of April 5-7 to rank #32. The film has earned an estimated total of US$4,676,810 in the United States and Canada after five weeks in theaters.

The film earned US$1,813,781 in its debut weekend beginning on April 7, and ranked #13 at the box office. It had a per-screen average of US$5,832, and its per-theater average for April 7 was higher than any film in the top 12. It earned more than US$4.5 million by the end of its fourth weekend.

Funimation is hosting screenings in the original Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub.

Box Office Mojo estimated the film's current worldwide total at US$354,198,893 as of May 7.

Paramount Pictures' live-action Ghost in the Shell film earned US$115,571 at the United States box office in its sixth weekend to rank #30. The sixth weekend gross is about a 73.5% drop in earnings from the film's fifth weekend. The film has an estimated total gross of US$40,252,290 in the United States.

The film earned US$18,676,033 in its debut weekend in the United States. The global total for the film is estimated at US$168,352,290 as of Sunday.

Lionsgate's new Power Rangers film earned an estimated US$227,436 in its seventh weekend to rank #24. The film has now earned an estimated US$84,654,539 in the United States and a worldwide total of US$135,180,272.
