RWBY Manga Ranks #2 on U.S. Monthly Bookscan January List

Dragon Ball Super, Tokyo Ghoul:re, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Shiver also rank
Shirō Miwa's RWBY manga ranked at #2 on NPD BookScan's Top 20 list for January.
This month's list featured nine manga volumes including:
- #5 — Toyotarō and Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Super volume 2
- #6 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re volume 2
- #11 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 10
- #12 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 1
- #13 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re volume 1
- #15 — Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan volume 23
- #17 — Kazue Katō's Blue Exorcist volume 18
- #18 — Junji Ito's Shiver: Junji Ito Selected Stories
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
NPD BookScan announced in September it plans to add in sales numbers from comic book stores in partnership with Diamond Comics and indie retailers in the coming year, but hasn't yet revealed a specific date the change will take place.
