posted on by Andrew Osmond
Released as both Limited Blu-ray and DVD

Anime Limited has announced that it will release the 12-part series Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers on May 28, as both a Limited Blu-ray and a DVD.

The Limited Blu-ray (pictured left) will include a 48-page art book including character art, storyboards from the opening and ending sequences, and a gallery section.

The release will include the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and also a new English dub, with the following dub actors:

Adlet - Robbie Daymond

Nachetanya - Abby Trott

Flamie - Brianna Knickerbocker

Goldov - Ray Chase

Chamot - Kira Buckland

Maura - Wendee Lee

Hans - Ben Diskin

Anime Limited describes the series as follows: Legend says when the Demon God awakens from the deepest of darkness, the Goddess of Fate will summon Six Braves and grant them the power to save the world. Adlet, who claims to be the strongest man in the world, is chosen as one of the “Braves of the Six Flowers” and sets out on a battle to prevent the resurrection of the Demon God. However, it turns out that there are Seven Braves who gathered at the promised land…

The Seven Braves realize there must be one enemy among them, and feelings of suspicion spread through the group – with Adlet being suspected first and foremost.

Takeo Takahashi (Spice and Wolf, MAOYU, So, I Can't Play H!) directed the series at the studio Passione. Hijiri Sanpei (MAOYU, Rail Wars! episode director) was assistant director, and Tatsuhiko Urahata (Oreshura, Monster, NANA) is writing the script and handling composition. Sayaka Koiso (Rail Wars!, Haitai Nanafa) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Michiru Oshima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Blast of Tempest, The Tatami Galaxy) composed the soundtrack. Hitomi Sano (Rail Wars!, Spice and Wolf, Haitai Nanafa) was the color coordinator, Tatsuya Fukushima (Walkure Romanze, Rail Wars! key animator) designed the monsters, and Iwanaga Yoshinori (Beelzebub, From the New World, Is This a Zombie?) designed the props.
