Aqua Timez Band Breaks Up After 2018

Group's final tour begins on Saturday
The official website for the band Aqua Timez announced on Tuesday that the group will break up after their activities in 2018. The members thanked and apologized to their supporters, and each provided a personal message for the announcement.
The band will begin its final tour, titled "Present is a Present tour 2018," in Gifu on Saturday. The tour will end in Okinawa on September 1.
The band was formed in 2003. The current members are vocalist Futoshi, bassist OKP-STAR, guitarist Daisuke, keyboardist Mayuko, and drummer Tasshi. The group's eighth album, Nijūrasen no Masayume, shipped on April 25.
Aqua Timez has performed theme songs for anime such as Bleach, Naruto Shippūden, Gintama, and Magi: The Kingdom of Magic.
