Koei Tecmo Reveals Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet Game for PS4, Switch

KOEI Tecmo Games announced at the "Dead or Alive Festival 2018" event in Tokyo on Sunday that it is producing a new version of its Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 game titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will launch in Japan on March 20, and will feature the character Misaki from the PC version of the Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation game.
KOEI Tecmo Games published Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 exclusively in Japan and Asia for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita in March 2016. The game's PS Vita version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus, and the PS4 version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune. A PS VR support update for the PS4 version launched in January 2017.
Tecmo released the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball game on the Xbox in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2003. In the game, players play as one of the women from the Dead or Alive fighting game series and partake in volleyball matches as well as other beach-related minigames and shopping. Tecmo released a sequel, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, on the Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2006.
The most recent game in the Dead or Alive Xtreme series, Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, shipped for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan and Asia in 2016, and the PC version debuted in November 2017.
In the main Dead or Alive game series, the Dead or Alive 5 game debuted for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The game's most recent updated version, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, launched for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, and arcades in 2015.
The Dead or Alive 6 game will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on February 15.
