The official website for Frontwing's Grisaia franchise announced on Friday that the series will get a smartphone app titled Grisaia Chronos Rebellion. The "beautiful girl gun action RPG" will be free to play with in-app purchases. The staff have not yet announced a release window.
Video game and visual novel translation company Sekai Project launched Frontwing's The Fruit of Grisaia on Steam in 2015 after meeting its Kickstarter goal for a Western release of the game trilogy. Frontwing and Sekai Project have also released other two games, The Labyrinth of Grisaia and The Eden of Grisaia, on Steam. All three of the original games inspired anime and manga adaptations.
Frontwing released the The Fruit of Grisaia bonus episode "The Leisure of Grisaia" on Steam in May 2016. More recently, Frontwing has been releasing the Grisaia: Phantom Trigger game for PC. The first two volumes of the game launched both in Japanese and with English text for PC in April 2017. "Volume 5" of the game launched in Japan and in English on July 27. A Kickstarter-funded anime adaptation will premiere in March after a delay.
