Anime Network Heads to Las Vegas

The Anime Network, the first dedicated Anime Network in the nation, today announced it's “Demand Your Anime” campaign is heating up at the 1st Annual Las Vegas Comic Con, being held October 31 to November 2, 2003 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, tapping into the throngs of anime fans that will attend the event to further validate consumer demand for the network to cable operators. The “Demand The Anime Network” campaign combines a direct mail component targeting cable carriers across the country with a sweepstakes opportunity for consumers to win a 2004 Honda Civic Si.

Kevin Corcoran, President of Anime Network, “LVCC invites anime fans to strut their stuff during costume contests with over $15,000 in prizes for the best costumes. This is the perfect venue to spread the word about Anime Network while validating the growing popularity of this distinct programming to cable operators everywhere.”

Consumers will be able to pick up entry forms for the “Demand Your Anime” sweepstakes and view the 2004 Honda Civic Si grand prize at the ADV Films/Anime Network booth. The sweepstakes began July 3, 2003 and runs through December 4, 2003. Entrants may also register online at the network's website, accessible at www.theanimenetwork.com.
