ANIME SOUTH ANNOUNCES 2005 GUESTS AND 2006 CONVENTION DATES
Destin, Florida - Apr. 16, 2005 - Anime South is pleased to announce 2
guests for its inaugural convention on November 18-20, 2005 at the
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Voice actor Marc Matney, who has
dubbed series such as "Oh My Goddess!" and "You're Under Arrest", has
graciously agreed to join us this fall. In addition, Mirana Reveier, an
illustration artist whose work has been featured in the anime DVD
galleries of "Rurouni Kenshin" and "Love Hina", will also honor us with her
presence for the upcoming convention.
At this time, Anime South would like to thank 3 people for their
unbelievable financial generosity: Angel Viloria, Kiel Melvin, and Brenton
Muckow. These three have taken the unusual step of becoming Founders of
Anime South by donating huge grants to allow this convention to be
held. Thank you once again to all three for their selfless giving.
Due to the tremendous response received for its first convention being
held on November 18-20, 2005, Anime South announces its dates for 2006.
Anime South 2006 will be held on November 3-5, 2006 once again at the
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The convention is in the
gorgeous beach resort city of Destin, Florida.
The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa is the largest luxury
hotel on the most beautiful beach in the United States. This 2,400 acre
resort boasts 73 holes of championship golf, 13 tennis courts, the
country's largest charter fishing boat fleet, 3 indoor and outdoor pools, a
private beach, a full service spa, 2 whirlpools, scuba diving, and
unparalleled shopping centers.
The hotel offers only suites with 2 Double Beds, 1 Queen Sofa Bed, and
1 two-level Bunk Bed. The convention has arranged a limited number of
suites at the unbelievably low price of only $99 per night. The $30
