MTAC to Collaborate wit JapanFest at Gergia's Stone Mountain Park

Sep 22nd 2005
The Middle Tennessee Anime Convention is proud to announce an involvement with JapanFest - a yearly event hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, The Japan-America Society of Georgia, and the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta! MTAC is proud to do our part in supporting the Japanese culture in America by providing anime content in a special MTAC tent during the weekend long event. JapanFest takes place the weekend of September 24th and 25th at Georgia's gorgeous Stone Mountain Park. For more details, visit http://www.japanfest.com!

MTAC would also like to extend our regards to the victims of recent natural disasters effecting the Gulf of Mexico and other portions of the Southern United States. In an effort to contribute to relief efforts, MTAC is proud to contribute to a Nashville based Red Cross fund created by local gaming community, Kat5Kaos (http://www.kat5kaos.com). Working with the various members of the fandom community in Nashville, Kat5Kaos was able to raise over $1,000 in donations to the Red Cross! MTAC is honored to have been able to contribute to such a noble cause and thank Kat5Kaos for their efforts.

Remember folks, MTAC is taking place April 21st - 23rd of 2006! We've already passed our first registration price tier and have already had a sold out dealer room for months! With a new location, new special events, and that same thing that always makes MTAC great - MTAC 6th Period is gearing up to be the best MTAC ever!
