Anime Network Launches 5 New 24/7 Linear Channels in Texas

ANIME NETWORK RACKS UP 24/7 LINEAR CARRIAGE IN TEXAS WITH LAUNCH ON HOME STATE TELECOM PROVIDER GRANDE COMMUNICATIONSÒ

HOUSTON, TX – March 12, 2007 – As the result of a new distribution deal with Grande CommunicationsÒ, Anime Network is now available to Grande customers in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, San Antonio and Waco.

Anime Network has been one of the most highly requested channels among our customers,” said Grande Senior Vice President of Marketing Miguel Lecuona. “Adding the channel will make Grande the first cable provider in many of our markets to offer 24/7 linear coverage of Anime Network, providing a popular supplement to our diverse programming choices and a significant value added option to our customers who are fans of the network.”

Beginning this month, Anime Network is available to Digital Cable customers through Grande in the following Texas cities:

* Austin, channel 171
* Corpus Christi, channel 174
* Dallas, channel 170
* San Antonio, channel 171
* Waco, channel 174

Grande's decision to provide 24/7 linear carriage of the channel strengthens Anime Network's market share in Texas, where the burgeoning network continues to build on its position as the leading 24/7 linear anime service among cable operators.

“While our stronghold in the on-demand realm is well-documented, Anime Network is also committed to 24/7 linear service as a preferred format to reach our passionate and loyal fan base,” said Kevin McFeeley, Vice President of Affiliate Sales and New Media for Anime Network. “We're now seeing our VOD success transition into the 24/7 linear carriage deals we've been seeking, and we're happy to add Grande to that growing list.”

Anime Network's launch with Grande comes on the heels of 24/7 linear cable launches into new markets in Puerto Rico, Missouri, Houston, Florida and Wisconsin, and marks its continued growth as a linear cable offering.
