Dear Colleague,
I have three very exciting announcements to those interested in Japan digital media related events.
SUMMER PROGRAM for Junior High School Students
PROFESSIONAL and INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Scholarship Opportunity to attend Keio Academy of New York as 9th or 10th Grader

Last December Keio Academy of New York has established a new outreach program office, as its first manager, I have a number of very exciting announcements that I would like to share with the educators of Japanese language and teachers of international schools.

SUMMER PROGRAM for Junior High School Students
We are organizing a two weeks bilingual summer program for junior high school students aged 13 to 15 (July 25th to August 8 2009). The program requires the participants to live in a bilingual (English and Japanese) bicultural dormitory. The program will be very similar to last year's very successful program, so, please take a look at our web site http://www2.keio.edu/summercamp/.
Last years' guest speaker included, Yūji Nunokawa CEO of Pierrot Co., Ltd, which has produced TV animation series, "NARUTO", "BLEACH" and more. He has worked on “Casshern”, “Yatterman” and others as an animation director.
I would appreciate very much if you could inform your members and friends about this unique educational program.
We will start online registration beginning January 15, 2009!! For those who finish all of the application processes by February 27th 2009, the fee will be held at $2,500 (same as 2008 price!!).

PROFESSIONAL and INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
At the same time, we are looking for program assistants and interns for this summer program. We are looking for people who have a strong interest in working in bilingual bicultural educational environment who can help facilitate cross-cultural communications between Japanese and American students.

Scholarship Opportunity to attend Keio Academy of New York as 9th or 10th Grader
