Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Selects Guadalajara, Mexico as the Host City of Its Prestigious Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game World Championship Qualifier 2010 for Central Latin America June 19-20

Hundreds of Duelists from around the Central Continent to attend this premier Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME event
One of two World Championship Qualifiying events to be held in June

MEXICO CITY, Mex. (May 4, 2010) – Commonly known as the cultural center of western Mexico and the birthplace of traditional Mariachi, and the original charro, Mexico's second largest city, Guadalajara will now be known as the host of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.'s (KDE) Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) World Championship Qualifier 2010. KDE will bring its Guinness World Record best-selling Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) to Expo Guadalajara Convention Center during the debut of the Expo Comics Guadalajara. This is the first time that a TCG event of this caliber has been held in Guadalajara. Hundreds of players representing twelve Central Continental countries are expected to attend and vie for the coveted title of Contential Champion and the opportunity to compete in the World Championship in the United States in July. During the month of June another World Championship Qualifier will be held in Lima, Peru.

We expect some intense play from Duelists who have traveled from countries such as Bermuda and Panama. The Guadalajara World Championship Qualifier will also offer exciting Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG public events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which include Win-A-Mat tournaments, Pegasus League: Deck Challenge events, and ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD! for all ages, and Dragon Duel tournaments for Duelists aged 12 and under. There will also be 2011 Regional Qualifier tournaments on Sunday.
