Ani-Jam 2013 is Pleased to Announce Singer Kairu as a Guest of Honor

Fresno, CA - July 5, 2013 - Ani-Jam, the Central Valley's premiere anime convention is proud to announce singer Kairu as a Guest of Honor at Ani-Jam 2013 this summer.

The two-day event will be held on August 17-18 at the Valdez Hall (at the Fresno Convention Center). Kairu hails from Merced, California. Originally from the band {mid:night}, which disbanded in 2009, the singer who has been inspired by Japan's visual-kei rock scene, began his solo project in 2010. He has performed at a variety of anime conventions throughout California.

Kairu's performance is part of the “THIS IS THE END MINI-TOUR” which marks the end of his solo project. Kairu explained on his Facebook page, “When I started my solo project in 2010, I never imagined I'd have people as far as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and India listening to my music. I am eternally grateful to those of you in Europe especially. My family came from Europe and to have Germany as one of my top supporters with my Father's family being Bavarian was amazing! You made me and my ancestors proud. But now I feel as if I have exceeded “Kairu” and must bring this to it's end. There is only a little bit of time left but I hope you can join us for this last go.”

Kairu joins previously announced Guest of Honors: Anime voice talents Robert Axelrod, Brittney Karbowski, Greg Ayres, Cynthia Martinez, Chris Patton, veteran animator/author, Aimee Major Steinberger (“The Simpsons” and “Futurama”), Music producer Richie Branson, DJ Lord Katsuhiko Jinnai and singer Mari Watanabe.
