In July 2017, video game developer Cygames, Inc. (Shibuya, Tokyo, President: Koichi Watanabe) entered into a sponsorship agreement with Juventus F.C. of the Italian professional football league Serie A and will sponsor their first match of the 2018/19 season at home versus Lazio. This second match of the Serie A regular season will be held at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, August 25th.

Cristiano Ronaldo debuted for Juventus F.C. in a thrilling last gasp victory over Chievo. The season opener to Serie A kicked off on August 18th in an away game at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi. The next match will be a home game played in a packed Allianz Stadium where Juventus supporters will get to see their team play on home turf.
