The second volume picks up where the first left off, continuing the story of Motoyasu's adventure to reunite with Filo. He brings Naofumi and Eclair along with him, picking up several new filolials on the way. Motoyasu begins to raise and train Sakura, Yuki, and Kou – the three young filolials –and helps Naofumi grow stronger, so they might be able to fight back against the assassins hounding them at every step on their way to Siltvelt.
