I finally got around to watching the 2nd Stage and I was wondering the same thing, but there are no word about an OVA or new TV Series. I guess Gonzo is done with the series.[/spoiler]

Just saw the last ep of Vandread: Second Stage last night. I thought the ending was a proper one and thus don't expect more to be made, though I won't be disappointed if I'm wrong. Cool

Vandread is one of my favorite series, but I thought the ending was very descriptive and satisfying. Though they have a lot of extra ground they could cover, I doubt more episodes will be made.

It wasn't satisfying to me. I don't know maby its just the version I saw was on tv. I didn't get a chance to see Vandread Turbulence yet so I haven't seen those extra scenes which would probably be a little more satisfying then watching hibiki get on the ship with dita and then its over. It left me hanging because I want to know if Dita and hibiki ever hook up or not and if they have any children. I'd also like to know what happens with the rest of the crew whether anybody else hooks up with anybody else. Will they ever go back to earth to see whats happened to it after they destroyed all their harvesting ships.

Vandread is one of my favorite anime. I saw Vandread and Vandread: Second Stage, last year. I can't wait for the rerelease of the new Vandread. The way it ended was good, in my opinion.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Second Stage was the end of Vandread. There are rumors of another series, but nothing has been confirmed. If it's not confirmed, it's as good as nothing.

You may be talking about Taidouhen and Turbulence. The former being a recap of First Stage, and the latter being a recap of Second Stage. Both include some new footage, but that's about it. They are both movie length releases.
