Has any of you guys seen Naruto and is it any good?

i've seen naruto, and i highly reccoment it. its not as great as some of the anime series such as cowboy bebop or even rurouni kenshin, but i highly reccommend it.

It is very good and is just getting into the best arc from the manga (in my opinion) but the manga is long and it may go to 30+ volumes. So it would be a heavy commitment to collect either one.

Due to the direction of the anime right now, it's a love it or hate it anime. But because of my love for ninjas and pretty much makes you remember what anime is truly about, I think you should watch it.

Don't compare Naruto to DBZ. Both of them have nothing in common. If you like the manga (despite the snail's pace Viz is going) then get the Anime. |

If you're in for the long haul (read: 100+ episodes
 ), then I say that Naruto is a very good and rewarding anime. There're lots of flashbacks and the battles can drag on for many episodes. If you get past these, you'll notice that Naruto has excelent characters, decent plot and it packs a fistful of surprices. Like any long series there are times when you lose interrest but Naruto is highly addictive and I found myself returning to it time and time again. You'll love it or hate it. I for one, love it  .

Naruto is relatively entertaining. I personally never got into it very heavily. I understand to quote ADV (I think) that: "some people like Naruto better than Sex."

Not exactly. I personally dislike DBZ for the most part (and rank DBGT as one of the single worst anime of all time), but I enjoy the hell out of Naruto. There's an actual sense of plot & character development in Naruto, whereas DBZ tends to drag horribly in both categories. Even when Naruto slows down and drags, it never quite gets to DBZ's level. |

show by itself is "meh". sure it has some cool parts, but thats about it. my opinion: good amv material IF you use it right. like this:

It has comedy, suspense, drama and amazing character's that all have indepth background information about them. The creator really went all out with this series, and the animation is amazing, and gets even better during key scenes, ie. spoiler[Sasuke and Naruto fighting Ororchimaru during their chunnin exam].
I think everyone should at least watch one episode, and if you don't like it, at least you can say that you've seen it... But for a lot of hardcore fans, one episode is not nearly enough, and you'll probably end up waiting each week for the next episode to come out like the rest of us!

I think Naruto's pretty good... I read a few chapters of it in Shonen Jump, and got addicted to it!
