Wait... wha? This in addition to Kai?

I keep waiting to purchase this series until the "definitive" version comes out and I thought that maybe that had finally happened with the Dragon Boxes... and now, this announcement.

I wish the original Dragonball would get some love, too.

I don't think I can watch the original after Kai... I might pick up the filler arcs on Blu-Ray (Garlic Jr mainly) if the episode spacing is convenient, and maybe the Buu saga since Kai never did it, but that's it. Also the original Dragonball.

Seconded! 2 to 3 dragon boxes would hit the spot!

I wonder if Funi has gone back to the well one too many times...

Whatever gives Funimation the money required to dub the less profitable shows and movies that I actually care about is fine by me.

Speaking of which, when are we going to get Serial Experiments Lain on blu-ray over here? Pretty sure Funi has the license for that one sitting around.

If a show isn't profitable for Funi they drop it.

Now that the ads are up, I can bring this thread back. But I am so happy.

1- We get to see the Majin Buu Saga in HD
2- In addition to the Japanese version and the Dragon Box English Dub version, we'll also get the American TV broadcast version with the cool music that made the filler scenes more interesting

FUNimation! You guys are the best...kind of, should have just released the movies and the Majin Buu saga since they were left out of Kai.
